Our Philosophy
Koghan Yoga is distinct in its holistic approach to healing and personal growth. Rooted in ancient traditions yet uniquely modern in its application, this practice emphasizes the integration of mind, body, and spirit. Its principles focus not only on physical postures but also on breathwork, meditation, and mindful awareness, allowing practitioners to cultivate a deeper connection with themselves and their surroundings.
In our training, students learn to identify the three main energy centers in the body and how to align them properly to generate psychic high-force currents into the chakras and other energy zones. They develop the ability to breathe with their entire bodies, digesting and assimilating prana to enter and maintain a trance state, whether in standing, seated, or lying down positions. This mastery enables students to transmit energy into other zones, such as the palms and fingers, for mudras in both moving and non-moving meditations.
Additionally, students explore various forms of yoga, each with its own histories, stories, and purposes. They learn to connect the past, present, and future yoga systems through their practice, gaining a deeper understanding of how different yoga forms can complement one another on the path to personal growth. This includes insights into concepts such as Dhanda yoga, Hanthawaddy, meditation, and Pranayama, and how various elements enhance the overall yoga experience.
